How To Reach Port Blair: To reach Havelock Island one should reach Port Blair, the Capital of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Port Blair is connected by air from Chennai and Kolkatta. By sea from Chennai, Kolkatta and Vishakapatnam. Travel time by sea is approximately 60 hours. Travel time by air is 2 hours and Indian Airlines and Jetlite operates daily flights between Kolkatta – Port Blair – Kolkatta sector. Indian Airlines and Kingfisher Red Airlines operated daily flights between Chennai – Port Blair – Chennai sector.
How to reach Havelock Island: Daily three ferries are available for Havelock Island from Port Blair or vice versa. Approximate on way sailing time is two and half hours for the speed ferry and four and half hours for the slow ferry.
