Visakhapatnam is a coastal, port city, often called “The Jewel of the East Coast”, situated in the of Andhra Pradesh, located on the eastern shore of India, nestled among the hills of the Eastern Ghats and facing the Bay of Bengal to the east. Bestowed with natural deep water basins, the outer harbour is capable of accommodating 150,000 DWT vessels and draft upto 17 meters. The inner harbour is capable of accommodating vessels upto 230 meters LOA and draft upto 11 meters.
